About Coastal Carolina Submarine Veterans Base

Coastal Carolina was chartered as a chapter (Base) by USSVI March 19, 2008. Members reside primarily in central and southeastern coastal NC areas. Regular meetings typically occur bimonthly. Meetings and events take place in and around Wilmington, NC, ranging from Jacksonville to Oak Island. Typical activities, which support remembrance of shipmates who lost their lives serving their country, are memorial services, parades, and community information projects. Funds are provided by member dues, donations, and fund-raising activities as needed.

Our purpose is “To perpetuate the memory of our shipmates who gave their lives in the pursuit of their duties while serving their country. That their dedication, deeds and supreme sacrifice be a constant source of motivation toward greater accomplishments. Pledge loyalty and patriotism to the United States of America and its Constitution.
