About Coastal Carolina Submarine Veterans Base
Coastal Carolina was chartered as a chapter (Base) by USSVI March 19, 2008. Members reside primarily in central and southeastern coastal NC areas. Regular meetings typically occur bimonthly. Meetings and events take place in and around Wilmington, NC, ranging from Jacksonville to Oak Island. Typical activities, which support remembrance of shipmates who lost their lives serving their country, are memorial services, parades, and community information projects. Funds are provided by member dues, donations, and fund-raising activities as needed.
